The Running Man Nebula, by Jonathan Powles

The constellation of Orion is a rich area for astronomers. Here's the Running Man Nebula NGC 1977, which is right next to the famous Orion Nebula M42. The running man in question is actually comprised of the darker areas rather than the bright patches. Yes, you have to use some imagination. It's often that way!
